Retiring From Roxy: A Volunteer's Voice

Maggie Doodle is retiring after many years of bringing comfort and support to children in our area.

Hello Sharon,

I am writing to let you know that Maggie and I are retiring from the therapy dog program. Maggie turned 13 last month and she has developed a few orthopedic issues that say it's time to slow down.

It is with overwhelming sadness to make this decision to have to leave the program. She loves being a therapy dog and she is still quite vital. Being a part of this wonderful program has been immensely fulfilling and we will miss it greatly.

Keep up the amazing work that you continue to do for RTD. They are lucky to have you!
