Phyllis Mikolaj Elected as Vice-Chairperson on Roxy Board of Directors

Roxy™ Therapy Dogs elected Phyllis Mikolaj to the position of Vice-Chairperson of the Roxy Board of Directors for 2024.

Phyllis worked in the insurance industry holding various executive leadership positions. After 40 years with MetLife, Phyllis recently retired. She is looking forward to doing more volunteering, traveling, and enjoying time with her family and dogs.

Phyllis has been an active Roxy volunteer for the last 10 years. She currently serves as Director of the School Program, coordinating school requests with team availability, overseeing the parent permission process, orienting new teams, and supporting teams throughout the year across the entire Central Bucks School District.

In addition, Phyllis currently has 3 therapy-certified English Cream Golden Retrievers (Anya, Katie and Sydney) who she works with to support classes and community events within the area. She has 2 of her 3 grandchildren as students in the Central Bucks School District. Phyllis also works closely with several breeders in the area, consulting with them on her therapy dog work.
