Roxy™ Therapy Dogs programs provide an irreplaceable and dependable support system for children in our community. Our unique therapeutic services are provided entirely by unpaid volunteers absolutely free of charge. Roxy Therapy Dogs is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and, as such, donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
What does Roxy™ do with the funds that are raised from our generous supporters if we are an all-volunteer organization?
Donations cover Administration and Outreach which includes but is not limited to: recruiting new therapy dogs and volunteers for the increasing demand for therapy teams, especially in the schools; fees for events so we can share Roxy dogs with everyone in our community; communications, advertising and press releases to keep our donors and supporters up to date. This also includes our website maintenance as well as electronic newsletters.
