Pedersen Installed As New Roxy™ Board Chair

Stacey Pedersen

In January, Stacey Pedersen was installed as the new Roxy™ Therapy Dogs board chair, leading the organization into its 21st year serving school-age children in the greater Doylestown community.

Stacey is the principal of Bridge Valley Elementary School in Furlong. This is her sixth year as principal and 24th year in the Central Bucks School District. Stacey has worked alongside Roxy volunteers for many years as a teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal. Bridge Valley is home to Roxy volunteers in classrooms across all grade levels. Stacey feels strongly about the benefits of the Roxy™ Reading and Roxy™ Responders programs for the students of the Central Bucks School District.

Stacey notes, “The positive social-emotional impact on student confidence and well-being is evident every time you see Roxy dogs and volunteers. The connections our Roxy teams make with schools, classes, and individuals are a beautiful thing to see.”

Stacey is the mother of three CB students. She and her husband have daughters at West and Lenape. In addition, they have two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Gary and Kevin. Stacey and her family live in Doylestown Borough and enjoy being a part of this wonderful community.
