Therapy Dogs Skills
Sponsored by Roxy™ Therapy Dogs and a grant from the Village Improvement Association (VIA) Doylestown, this specialized class is designed for handlers pursuing a training path toward therapy team certification with their dog. Taught by certified dog trainer and Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs evaluator, Susie Danzis, this class is the first step for handlers with the goal of becoming a potential therapy team. This training path introduces standard skills as well as unique cues and concepts needed for this wonderful work in the future. This class is designed for dogs 8 months and older with or without previous training.

Roxy™ Therapy Dog Test Prep
Beginning Fall 2026
Therapy Dog Test Prep
This shorter, five-week class is designed for teams that have completed Therapy Dog Skills or have already earned their CGC. This class prepares teams for the fourteen Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs (B&BTD) test items. Teams learn how to highlight their dog’s temperament, display their dog’s polite manners and demonstrate team skills for upcoming certification testing.
