Six Programs to Benefit the Health and Well-Being of School-Age Children in Our Community

Roxy™ Therapy Dogs’ six programs take place in elementary schools, healthcare settings, secondary schools, the Courthouse, and other venues in the greater Doylestown community.

All programs were established at the community’s request, and each fills a specific need to comfort and support school-age children.

Roxy™ Reading: Elementary School Reading Inspiration

This is the Roxy flagship program. Each week, over 3,200 Central Bucks School District elementary students benefit from Roxy therapy team visits, which help them become stronger readers.

Student Specialized Support

In classes where reading is not the focus, our certified therapy teams provide comfort and support for children with special educational and developmental needs. These classes include Autistic Support, Multiple Disability Support, and Life Skills.
