Anniversary Accolades: Linden ES

Dear Foster Frog Families,

As we begin to wrap up our incredible school year, I wanted to take a moment to share our deep appreciation for one of the most special parts of our classroom experience—our visits from Trixie, our beloved Roxy Reading Therapy Dog, and her wonderful handler, Mrs. Sivak.

Each visit from Trixie brought joy, calm, and confidence to our students. Whether it was snuggling up with a good book or simply enjoying Trixie’s comforting presence, our time together helped build reading fluency, boost self-esteem, and create lasting memories. Watching the children light up every time Trixie walked through our door was truly heartwarming.

We are beyond grateful for the privilege of being part of the Roxy Reading Program and for the time, dedication, and love that Mrs. Sivak shared with our class. Her gentle encouragement and Trixie’s wagging tail have made a meaningful difference in our classroom community.

Please join me in giving a big THANK YOU to Mrs. Sivak and Trixie for the joy they brought to our year. We are so lucky to have had them as part of our learning journey!
