Roxy Volunteers Celebrate 20th Anniversary

On Sunday, September 21, Roxy™ Therapy Dogs volunteers gathered at an Open House held at Maggie Sivak’s home to celebrate Roxy’s 20th anniversary of bringing comfort and support to children. More than 50 volunteers enjoyed food and libations, shared Roxy stories, and enjoyed one another’s company (but without dogs this time).

The Open House Committee consisted of Board Member Maggie Sivak, Director of Volunteers Catherine Refice, Director of Events Christina Minsky, and Roxy Vice President Phyllis Mikolaj.

Roxy is grateful to the law firm of Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP, for sponsoring the event. In addition, a bounty of food was donated by Whole Foods (Doylestown), Altomonte’s, Simply Fresh by McCaffrey’s, and Salt Box.

Even the Eagles celebrated by bringing home a win against the Los Angeles Rams 33-26 to the delight of party-goers who were watching the game on TV.
